Toronto’s most influential philanthropists and cultural leaders gathered in November to support the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR) and its mission to end HIV in Canada. Held across the heart of Bloor-Yorkville, the event, called Bloor Street Entertains (BSE), has become one of the city’s most distinguished fundraising galas. Guests embarked on an immersive culinary journey curated by Toronto’s most celebrated chefs inside the neighbourhood’s iconic luxury boutiques, galleries and hotels, while hearing directly from CANFAR ambassadors and community voices about the real impact of HIV in Canada and how their generosity is driving meaningful change. With Living Luxe as a proud media sponsor, it was an evening during which haute cuisine and high fashion converged. The night culminated in a glittering after party at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, hosted by global icon Gigi Gorgeous, raising an extraordinary $1.47 million in support of CANFAR. As global attention on HIV/AIDS continues to wane, BSE remains a powerful force for impact. The event will mark its 30th anniversary on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Learn more at CANFAR.com
