Authenticity is a defining theme for 2026. In luxury interiors, this translates into a more thoughtful, curated approach—one that prioritizes artistry and enduring design. It’s a philosophy that Hossein Derambakhsh, visionary founder of Houser Fine Cabinetry, embraced long before it became a trend.

“To me, a luxury lifestyle means living with intention, surrounded by beauty, comfort, and authenticity, where every detail has purpose and every space tells a story,” Derambakhsh says. “It is not about excess, but rather refinement and meaning.”

By combining artistic flair with technical precision and innovation, Houser Fine Cabinetry has become synonymous with refined bespoke interior millwork.

For more than a decade, this approach has guided every project the company undertakes, whether large or small, new construction or renovation. Superb craftsmanship, backed by integrity, respect, and personal commitment, has put Houser Fine Cabinetry in high demand among designers, contractors, and builders, as well as the occasional hands-on homeowner from across the GTA. Its reputation continues to grow: the company now receives inquiries from clients as far afield as Ottawa, Niagara Falls, and even Florida.

Everything Houser creates is custom designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house at its 7,000-square-foot facility. “Every project is unique and begins with a thorough understanding of the client’s lifestyle, vision, and needs,” Derambakhsh says. “Our goal is to integrate them into the creative ideas from the designers, bringing their concepts into a sophisticated, elegant reality.”

The firm’s projects span everything from full kitchens and bathrooms to walk-in closets, home offices, and built-in cabinetry framing fireplaces. In short, Houser’s work can be found wherever custom millwork is needed.

Design trends are shaping the studio’s work in new ways. Organic shapes are increasingly in demand, while stone and metal accents continue to gain popularity. One project might involve a curved home bar counter topped with precious onyx; another, a wine cellar accented with burnished brass. Designers are also incorporating fluting and other decorative details that lend cabinetry the character of fine furniture.

“It's one thing to make a beautiful design on paper,” Derambakhsh says, “and quite another to live with it. Good design goes well beyond following trends. It is about creating a feeling of sophistication and a sense of timelessness and belonging.”

Having worked in the industry for more than 20 years across Canada and in Iran, Derambakhsh understands the foundations of quality craftsmanship. He has assembled a highly skilled team of 10 dedicated professionals who bring designs to life with precision and care. Together, they guide each project seamlessly from initial concepts and detailed plans to intricate 3D renderings and curated material selections. A specialized crew of six installers complements this core group, ensuring every installation meets the highest standards.

“Every team member listens carefully, communicates clearly, and delivers on every promise,” Derambakhsh says. “They share my deep commitment to quality, taking personal pride in their work and approaching each cabinet as if it were intended for their own homes.”

Precision is central to Houser’s process. Derambakhsh’s background in industrial engineering shapes the company’s manufacturing approach. He has invested heavily in advanced German-manufactured machinery and cutting-edge software, pairing them with time-honoured craftsmanship. The resulting synergy allows Houser Fine Cabinetry to execute even the most intricate custom designs with exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

Looking ahead, the team is exploring how smart technology and AI might further elevate how people experience their living spaces.     “The vision is for the future showroom to demonstrate the full potential of bespoke millwork, showcasing what can be achieved when passion and precision drive innovation,” Derambakhsh says.

His advice for those seeking an authentic expression of luxury at home is simple: take time to reflect on how your home should support your family’s lifestyle and needs, and what makes your space unique. Then work with trusted professionals who value craftsmanship and understand your vision.

Quality and timeless design, he believes, are investments that reward homeowners in more ways than one. “True luxury is not just what you see—it is what you feel every day when you walk into your home.”
