For its fourth consecutive year, City Couture remains a standout moment of the Living Luxe Design Show, presented by JennAir; it unites fashion, philanthropy, and community in support of two vital causes. Bathed in a romantic palette of pink and gold, this year’s event embraced its Lumière Rose theme, setting the tone for an evening of glamour and giving.
Co-chaired by Jennifer Lipkowitz and Marialisa De Gasperis, the event reflected a shared vision. “Together, we created City Couture to bring people together through fashion, community, and purpose,” said De Gasperis. “What started as an idea has grown into something truly meaningful.”
The runway showcased collections from House of Dwir, Rita Tesolin, Ladan Fazal (Lafalux), and White Couture, while nine live auction items reinforced the evening’s message: investing in lives, not luxury. The event raised $80,000, with proceeds split evenly between SickKids Foundation and Autism in Mind (AIM), supporting pediatric care, clinical research, and autism services across communities.
Remarks from Jennifer Bernard, president and CEO of SickKids Foundation, and from Dr. Stephen Scherer, chief of research at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), reinforced the critical importance of continued investment in scientific advancement and children’s health.
“Marialisa and I would like to recognize the incredible people who made tonight possible,” said Lipkowitz. “To our generous sponsors, partners, donors, and attendees, we are deeply grateful for your support.”
