With a record-breaking crowd, the La Dolce Vita Travel Fashion Show 2026 at Venu Event Space offered a transportive escape inspired by Sicily.
Reflecting the brand’s vision of curating luxury Italian getaways, the evening brought that ethos to life through fashion. Founded by Filomena Lofranco, the show began with a simple yet resonant question: What should I wear when travelling to Italy? “That one question sparked what began as a small gathering and grew into a community rooted in fashion and culture,” says Lofranco.
The runway unfolded as a series of vignettes, transporting guests from Palermo to Mount Etna to Monreale—each scene bringing the clothing to life through narrative and setting. A best-dressed competition, performances by Italian-Canadian musicians Soprano Scarlato and Armando Scarlato, and an Italian-inspired dinner completed the experience.
All net proceeds supported Cortellucci Hospice Vaughan, reinforcing the evening’s focus on community and meaningful giving. “It’s important to recognize how vital a place like this is in the community. We are proud to support such meaningful work,” Lofranco says. “This evening would not be possible without those who brought it to life.”
