Artistic Venture

Toronto-based artist and designer Bright Uchechukwu recently unveiled her solo show at Deco Gallery, presenting a powerful body of work that captures movement, emotion and transformation. Known for blending contemporary abstraction with a touch of surrealism, her paintings use bold yet muted colours and layered textures to explore the tension between human emotion, vulnerability and strength. Uchechukwu’s practice reflects her belief that art should not only be seen, but deeply felt. Her new coffee table book, Adaontez— a compilation of meaningful paintings and glimpses of her art in interiors—debuts in October.
