A Living Showroom
Cosentino, a global company that specializes in sustainable surfaces for the architectural and design industries, has unveiled a showroom at the corner of Front and Frederick Streets. Bright and contemporary, Toronto City Centre, as it’s aptly dubbed, was designed by Cosentino in collaboration with Dubbeldam Architecture + Design as a love letter to surfaces. “Toronto’s design community is among the most vibrant in North America, and this new City Centre places Cosentino right at its heart,” says Karim Guirguis, the regional director north at Cosentino. Going beyond product displays, the showroom invites visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Cosentino with features that include rotating metal frames of full slabs, an atelier library, a striking curved kitchen island and a fully functioning bathroom concept with a shower, two operational washrooms and Cosentino’s new Zoe Top integrated sink. Areas for events and education position Toronto City Centre Cosentino as a hub for the cutting edge of design in the city and beyond.
Whimsical Wears
For the young at heart, Coach debuts a new collection teeming with whimsy. Stuart Vevers’ Winter 2025 collection is inspired by the joy and indulgence of the holiday season. “My children and I play with wands, crowns, swords and capes that open our world to endless self-expression and immediate optimism,” says Vevers. “I wanted to share the sense of possibility that fashion allows us to feel, manifest, and enact.” Stars, polka dots, taffeta and tulle dresses and skirts, and oversized, shaggy knitwear make for outfits that are as fun as they are stylish.
Furniture for a Lifetime
Launched in September by the team that created Vancouver-founded Sundays Furniture, Hetta combines meticulous craftsmanship and high-quality materials to create functional and stylish furniture pieces for the living, dining and bedrooms. From solid wood side tables to buttery leather sofas, each item is intended to last, both in form and in aesthetic. Details, including wire-brushed finishes and traditional joinery, add character and soul.
